Brian’s Insulation began in 1980 when founder, Brian D. Nelson was insulating attics with just his pick-up, a trailer and a small, two-bag insulation blower. His dad was a building contractor, so Brian grew up in construction. Starting an insulation company seemed only natural.
While getting started, Brian stored his insulation in his grandmother’s garage. She was very supportive of his new venture, and good work ethic ran strong in the family. At first, insulating was his second and sometimes third job, but with a lot of hard work and persistence, it quickly consumed all of his time.
As times changed, so did the demand for insulation. In the past, carpenters would insulate their own walls, but soon, they were too busy and were happy to hire someone to do it for them. Brian eventually hired employees and bought a truck. Since many of Brian’s customers are members of his own community, he has always focused on quality work and customer satisfaction. A good reputation was, and still is, very important to him.
